2048 Game
Slide all the tiles in one direction; two tiles with the same number join into one. A new tile appears after every move. Reach the 2048 tile before the board fills up.
How to use it
- Use the arrow keys, WASD or swipe on the board.
- Join equal tiles: 2 + 2 = 4, 4 + 4 = 8 and so on.
- Undo one move if you make a mistake; your best score is saved.
Frequently asked questions
What is a good strategy?
Keep your biggest tile in a corner and build a row of decreasing tiles next to it. Avoid the direction that pulls the big tile out of its corner.
Which tiles appear?
After each move a new tile appears in a random empty cell: a 2 nine times out of ten and a 4 otherwise, as in the original game.
How is the score counted?
Each time two tiles join, the value of the new tile is added: joining two 8s gives 16 points.
