How do I convert a Minguo year to the Western year?
Add 1911: Minguo 115 is 2026. Taiwan uses the Minguo year on ID cards, invoices and official forms; years before 1912 are written 民國前 (before the Republic).

Is the Minguo calendar different from the Gregorian calendar?
Only the year number changes: months and days are the Gregorian ones. North Korea's Juche calendar uses the same count, since it also starts in 1912.
