Pascal

The pascal (Pa) is the SI derived unit of pressure, defined as one newton per square metre (N/m²). It was adopted by the General Conference on Weights and Measures in 1971 and named after the French mathematician and physicist Blaise Pascal. Standard atmospheric pressure is approximately 101,325 Pa, and it is widely used in science, engineering, and meteorology.

Torr

The torr (Torr) is a unit of pressure defined as exactly 1/760 of a standard atmosphere, equal to approximately 133.322 pascals. It is named after the Italian physicist Evangelista Torricelli, inventor of the barometer. The torr is widely used in vacuum science, medicine, and high-altitude meteorology, and is closely related to but not identical to the millimetre of mercury (mmHg)
