Sextant
A sextant as a unit of angle is equal to 60 degrees or 1/6 of a full circle (π/3 radians). The name derives from the Latin sextans (a sixth part). The navigational instrument of the same name measures angles up to 120° and is used to determine geographic position by measuring the angle between celestial objects and the horizon.
