Statcoulomb

The statcoulomb (statC), also called the franklin (Fr) or esu of charge, is the CGS-ESU unit of electric charge. It is defined as the amount of charge such that two point charges separated by 1 cm in vacuum exert a force of 1 dyne on each other. One statcoulomb equals approximately 3.336 × 10−10 coulombs.

Coulomb

The coulomb (symbol: C) is the SI unit of electric charge. It is the charge transported by a constant current of one ampere in one second. One coulomb equals the charge of approximately 6.242×10¹⁸ elementary charges (electrons or protons).
