Henry

The henry (symbol: H) is the SI unit of electrical inductance. A circuit has an inductance of one henry when an electromotive force of one volt is induced by a current changing at a rate of one ampere per second. Named after Joseph Henry, who independently discovered electromagnetic induction.

Nanohenry

The nanohenry (symbol: nH) is equal to 10⁻⁹ henries. It is used for very small inductors in microwave circuits, integrated circuit inductors, and parasitic inductance of PCB traces and component leads.
