Inch of water

The inch of water (inH₂O) at 4 °C is a unit of pressure equal to the pressure exerted by a one-inch column of water at its maximum density temperature, approximately 249.089 pascals. It is widely used in HVAC engineering, duct pressure measurement, and low-pressure gas regulation. Because water is much less dense than mercury, the inch of water represents a much smaller pressure than the inch of mercury

Pascal

The pascal (Pa) is the SI derived unit of pressure, defined as one newton per square metre (N/m²). It was adopted by the General Conference on Weights and Measures in 1971 and named after the French mathematician and physicist Blaise Pascal. Standard atmospheric pressure is approximately 101,325 Pa, and it is widely used in science, engineering, and meteorology.
