Watt/Meter/K

The watt per metre per kelvin (W/(m·K)) is the SI unit of thermal conductivity. It represents the rate of heat transfer through a material of unit thickness per unit area per unit temperature gradient. Copper has a value of ~400 W/(m·K) while insulation materials have values below 0.1 W/(m·K).

Btu (IT) Inch/Hour/Sq. Foot/°F

The British thermal unit inch per hour per square foot per degree Fahrenheit (Btu·in/(h·ft²·°F)) is used for thin materials such as sheet insulation and coatings. It equals 1/12 of Btu·ft/(h·ft²·°F) or approximately 0.1442 W/(m·K). Common in US insulation product data sheets.
