Pascal
The pascal (Pa) is the SI derived unit of pressure, defined as one newton per square metre (N/m²). It was adopted by the General Conference on Weights and Measures in 1971 and named after the French mathematician and physicist Blaise Pascal. Standard atmospheric pressure is approximately 101,325 Pa, and it is widely used in science, engineering, and meteorology.
Exapascal
The exapascal (symbol: EPa) is a unit of pressure equal to 10¹⁸ pascals, formed by applying the SI prefix exa- to the pascal. It represents an extraordinarily large pressure far exceeding any naturally occurring or engineered pressure on Earth. Such magnitudes are encountered only in theoretical astrophysics, such as in the cores of neutron stars.
