La reed is a biblical unit de longueur égal à 6 cubits, approximativement 3.11 meters (environ 10.2 feet), utilisé en ancient Hebrew and Near Eastern measurement. It appears in the Hebrew Bible in contexts of construction and land surveying, including Ezekiel's description of the Temple. The reed served as a practical measuring rod in ancient Mesopotamian and Israelite cultures.
