Seah (Biblical)

La seah (Hebrew: סְאָה) is a biblical Hebrew unit of dry volume égal à one-third of an ephah, approximativement 7.3 litres. Il est referenced in both the Hebrew Bible and the Talmud as a measure for grain and other dry goods. The seah est égal à six kabs or two-thirds of a bath in the liquid equivalent.

litre

La litre (British and Commonwealth spelling) or liter (American spelling) (SI symbols L and l, other symbol used: ) est une unité non-SI de volume. Il est égal à 1 cube decimetre (dm 3), 1000 cube centimetres (cm 3) or 0.001 cube metre. A cube decimetre (or litre) occupies a volume of 10 cm × 10 cm × 10 cm (see figure) and is thus égal à one-thousandth of a cube metre.
