Frequently asked questions
Will the fancy text work on Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp?
Yes, in almost all of them, because the result is ordinary Unicode text. A few styles, such as the tiny letters, use newer characters that very old phones may show as empty boxes.
Why do some letters stay normal?
Unicode only has these special versions for the basic letters A to Z and the digits. Accented letters keep their accent on top of the styled letter, and other alphabets, such as Cyrillic, Arabic or Chinese, are not changed.
Is there any downside to using fancy text?
Screen readers used by blind people may read each character by its technical name, and search engines do not treat it as normal words. Use it for decoration, such as a name or a title, rather than for important information.
Is it free and private?
Yes. The text is transformed in your browser and is not sent to any server.
