Micronewton

The micronewton (µN) is a unit of force equal to one millionth of a newton (10−6 N). It is used in precision measurement, nanotechnology, and biomechanics where very small forces must be quantified accurately. Ion thrusters used in spacecraft attitude control, for instance, can produce thrust in the micronewton range. It follows the standard SI prefix "micro-" (µ) for 10−6

Newton

The newton (symbol: N) is the SI unit of force, named after Sir Isaac Newton. One newton is the force needed to accelerate a mass of one kilogram at one metre per second squared (1 N = 1 kg·m/s²). Roughly the weight of a small (100 g) apple under standard gravity, it is the base unit used throughout physics and engineering to express force, weight and thrust.
