What it does
This resume builder turns what you type into a clean, professional resume in a few minutes. Fill in your details, experience, education, skills and languages, choose one of three templates and a colour, and download it as a PDF ready to send or as a Word file to keep editing. The layout is a single column with real headings and bullet lists, which is what applicant tracking systems (ATS) read best. Nothing is uploaded: the resume is made in your browser and saved only there.
How to use it
- Fill in your name, job title and contact details, and add your jobs and education, newest first.
- Write one achievement per line in each job, then add your skills, languages and certifications.
- Pick a template and a colour, check the preview and download the PDF or the Word file.
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no paywall at the download: the PDF and the Word file are yours, as many times as you want.
Will applicant tracking systems (ATS) read my resume?
The templates use a single column, real text (not images), standard section names and bullet lists, which is the format ATS software reads most reliably. If a job asks for a Word file, download the .docx.
Should I add a photo?
In the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom resumes usually have no photo, to avoid bias. In much of Europe, Latin America and Asia a photo is common. The photo is optional here: leave it out if you are not sure.
How long should a resume be?
One page is best for up to about ten years of experience; two pages are fine after that. Keep the last 10 to 15 years, start each line with an action verb and use numbers to show results.
