The tropical year (also called a solar year) is the time it takes the Sun to return to the same position in the cycle of seasons, as observed from Earth, measured between successive vernal equinoxes. It is the basis for most civil calendars and determines the timing of seasons. One mean tropical year equals लगभग 365.24219 days.
