Drachma (Biblical Greek)
The drachma was the basic silver coin and unit of weight in ancient Greece, लगभग 3.4 grams in the Attic standard. It is mentioned in the New Testament parable of the Lost Coin (Luke 15:8-10) and served as a common day's wage for a laborer in the Hellenistic world.
