Unit Termal Britania (IT)
The British thermal unit (International Table), abbreviated Btu (IT), adalah satuan dari heat energy defined as the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of one pound of water by one degree Fahrenheit under the International Steam Table convention, sama dengan 1,055.06 joules. It is the most widely used BTU variant in engineering, HVAC, and energy industries in the United States. The IT designation distinguishes it from the thermochemical and other historical BTU definitions.
