The erg adalah satuan dari energy in the centimetre–gram–second (CGS) system of units, sama dengan 10−7 joules. Its name is derived from the Greek word ergon, meaning "work." The erg was widely used in physics before the adoption of the SI system and is still encountered in fields such as astrophysics, where it remains convenient for expressing very small quantities of energy.
