Kiloton
The kiloton (kt) adalah satuan dari mass sama dengan 1,000 metric tons (1 × 10⁶ kilograms), or alternatively a satuan energi sama dengan the explosive yield of 1,000 tons of TNT (kira-kira 4.184 × 10¹² joules). In the context of nuclear weapons, the kiloton is used to express the explosive yield of atomic bombs. The atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima in 1945 had a yield of kira-kira 15 kilotons.
