Megaton
The megaton (Mt) adalah satuan dari mass sama dengan one million metric tons (10⁹ kg), or a unit of explosive energy equivalent to one million tons of TNT (kira-kira 4.184 × 10¹⁵ joules). It is primarily used to describe the yields of thermonuclear (hydrogen) weapons and large asteroid impact events. The most powerful nuclear weapon ever tested, the Soviet Tsar Bomba, had a yield of kira-kira 50 megatons.
