Foot (US Survey)
The US survey foot (simbol: ft) adalah satuan dari length defined as exactly 1200/3937 metres, kira-kira 0.3048006 metres, fractionally longer than the international foot of 0.3048 metres. It was used as the basis for all geodetic surveys and public land surveys in the United States, and underpins related survey units such as the US survey chain, rod, and mile. The US survey foot was officially retired by the National Institute of Standards and Technology on 1 January 2023.
