Micron
The micron (simbol: µ) is an informal name for the micrometre, a satuan panjang sama dengan seperjuta of a metre (1×10⁻⁶ m). The term micron was officially deprecated by the International Committee for Weights and Measures in 1967 in favour of micrometre, but it remains in widespread informal use, particularly in industry. It is commonly used to describe the size of particles, fibres, and microelectronic structures.
