Nautical Mile (International)
The international nautical mile adalah satuan dari length defined as exactly 1,852 metres, adopted by the First International Extraordinary Hydrographic Conference in Monaco in 1929 and now in universal use for maritime and aeronautical navigation. It is closely related to the degree of arc along a great circle of Earth, with one nautical mile corresponding kira-kira to one minute of latitude. While not an SI unit, it is accepted for use with the SI.
