The parsec (simbol: pc) adalah satuan dari length used in astronomy sama dengan the distance at which one astronomical unit subtends an angle of one arcsecond, kira-kira 3.0857×10¹⁶ metres or 3.26 light-years. It is derived from the technique of stellar parallax and is the standard unit for expressing distances to stars and other objects beyond the Solar System. The parsec is a non-SI unit accepted for use with the SI by the International Astronomical Union.
