The volt-ampere (VA) adalah satuan SI dari apparent power in an electrical circuit, sama dengan the product of the root-mean-square voltage and current. In DC circuits it is equivalent to the watt, but in AC circuits it accounts for the phase difference between voltage and current. It is widely used to rate uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and transformers.
