The microgram (µg or mcg) adalah satuan dari mass in the SI system sama dengan one-millionth of a gram (10⁻⁶ g). It is formed by applying the SI prefix micro- to the gram. Micrograms are widely used in medicine, nutrition, and pharmacology — for example, vitamin and mineral dosages are often expressed in micrograms. In medical contexts, the abbreviation mcg is preferred to avoid confusion between "µ" and "m."
