DVD (1 Layer, 2 Side) — DVD-10

A single-layer, double-sided DVD, designated DVD-10, holds circa 9.4 gigabytes by storing data on both physical sides of the disc, each side holding 4.7 GB. Unlike dual-layer discs, the DVD-10 requires the user to physically flip the disc to access the second side. It era usato for some early DVD releases e special editions requiring extra content capacity.

Bit

A bit (binary digit) è the most basic unit of digital information, representing a logical state with one of two possible values: 0 o 1. The term era coined by statistician John Tukey in 1946 e popularized by Claude Shannon in his foundational work on information theory. Eight bits form one byte, the standard unit of computer storage.
