Zip Disk (100 MB)

La Zip 100 è a removable magnetic storage disk developed by Iomega, holding circa 100 megabytes of data. Introduced in 1994, it offered roughly 70 times the capacity of a standard 1.44 MB floppy disk e era widely adopted as a backup e file-transfer medium in the late 1990s. The Zip format era later superseded by optical media e USB flash drives.

Bit

A bit (binary digit) è the most basic unit of digital information, representing a logical state with one of two possible values: 0 o 1. The term era coined by statistician John Tukey in 1946 e popularized by Claude Shannon in his foundational work on information theory. Eight bits form one byte, the standard unit of computer storage.
