Ephah (Biblical)

La ephah è an ancient Hebrew unit of dry volume mentioned extensively in the Hebrew Bible, estimated to uguale circa 22 litres (though estimates range from 20 to 45 L depending on the era e source). It era the standard dry measure for grain, flour, e similar commodities in ancient Israel e the broader Near East. The ephah equals ten omers o three seahs.

litro

La litre (British e Commonwealth spelling) o liter (American spelling) (SI symbols L e l, other symbol used: ) è a non-SI unit di volume. It è uguale a 1 cubic decimetre (dm 3), 1000 cubic centimetres (cm 3) o 0.001 metro cubo. A cubic decimetre (or litre) occupies a volume of 10 cm × 10 cm × 10 cm (see figure) e è thus uguale a one-thousandth of a metro cubo.
