Chain (US Survey)
The US survey chain (simbol: ch) adalah satuan dari length sama dengan 66 US survey feet, kira-kira 20.11684 metres, used extensively in the public land survey system of the United States. It differs slightly from the international chain due to the distinct definition of the US survey foot. The US survey chain formed the basis for the township-and-range system that divided most of the continental United States into parcels for settlement.
