What it does
Markdown is a simple way to format text with plain characters: # for headings, ** for bold, - for lists. These tools follow CommonMark, the standard Markdown specification, plus the GitHub extensions: tables, task lists, strikethrough and automatic links.
How to use it
- Paste or type your Markdown, or open a .md file.
- Choose the paper size, A4 or Letter.
- Download the PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Is my text sent to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser, so private notes, documentation and drafts never leave your device.
Which Markdown syntax is supported?
All of CommonMark (headings, emphasis, lists, quotes, code, links, images, HTML) plus GitHub Flavored Markdown tables, task lists with [ ] and [x], strikethrough with ~~ and links that start with https://.
Are images included in the PDF?
Not yet: an image appears as its description in brackets. Everything else is kept, including tables, code blocks, links and text in any language, from Arabic to Chinese.
