Compare Two Images: Find the Differences
Compare two images and see every difference highlighted in red, with a before and after slider and the percentage of changed pixels. Free, in your browser.
What it does
Comparing two versions of a design, a screenshot before and after a change, or two scans by eye misses small changes. This tool compares the images pixel by pixel in your browser and paints every pixel that differs in red over a faded copy of the first image, frames the changed area, and counts how many pixels changed. The slider lets you wipe between the two versions.
How to use it
- Choose the first image (before) and the second image (after).
- Pick the sensitivity and the view.
- Check the highlighted differences and download the difference image if you need it.
Frequently asked questions
Why are there differences everywhere in two JPG files?
Saving a JPG again changes pixels slightly, invisibly. Choose Low sensitivity to ignore those small changes and see only real ones.
Can I compare images of different sizes?
Yes: the second image is scaled to the size of the first. For a pixel-exact comparison both images should have the same width and height.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Both images are compared in your browser, so designs and screenshots that are not public yet stay on your device.
