Minesweeper
Open every cell without a mine. Each number shows how many mines touch that cell. Your first click is always safe, and you can flag cells you think hide a mine.
How to use it
- Choose a level; the first click is always safe.
- Left-click to open, right-click or long-press to flag (or use flag mode).
- Click a number whose mines are all flagged to open its other neighbors.
Frequently asked questions
What do the numbers mean?
Each number is the count of mines in the eight cells around it. A cell with no mines around opens its neighbors automatically.
Is the first click really safe?
Yes. The mines are placed only after your first click, never on that cell or the eight around it, so you always start with an opening.
What is chording?
When a number already has as many flags around it as its value, clicking it opens all its other neighbors at once. If a flag is wrong, a mine goes off.
