The file is read by your browser and is not sent anywhere. No upload, no storage.

What it does

N-up printing puts several pages side by side on one sheet of paper, like the pages per sheet option of a printer, but saved in the PDF so it works on any printer or for sharing. Each page keeps its text as vectors and is scaled to fit its cell, and the sheet orientation is chosen to make the pages as large as possible.

How to use it

  1. Choose the PDF.
  2. Choose how many pages per sheet, the paper size, the order, margins and borders.
  3. Click Create PDF and print the new file at 100% (actual size).

Frequently asked questions

How do I print 2 pages per sheet?
Choose 2 pages per sheet: two portrait pages go side by side on a landscape sheet. A 10-page PDF becomes 5 sheets.

Is the text still readable at 4 or more pages per sheet?
At 4 per sheet an A4 page is printed at about 45% of its size, so 11 pt text comes out near 5 pt: readable, but small. 9 or 16 per sheet suit slides and thumbnails better than long text.

Does it keep the text sharp?
Yes. The pages are placed as vectors, not as pictures, so text and drawings print at full quality and the text stays selectable.
