The British thermal unit (IT) per minute (BTU/min) is a unit of power equal to 60 times the value of one BTU/h, or approximately 17.5843 watts. It is based on the International Table definition of the BTU, standardized at exactly 1055.05585262 joules. This unit is occasionally used in engineering and thermodynamic calculations where heat transfer rates are expressed over minute-scale intervals.
