Femtopascal

The femtopascal (symbol: fPa) is a unit of pressure equal to 10⁻¹⁵ pascals, formed by applying the SI prefix femto- to the pascal. Such pressures are at the boundary of what can be meaningfully measured with current instrumentation and are relevant only in the most extreme vacuum or theoretical contexts. One femtopascal equals 10⁻¹⁵ N/m².

Pascal

The pascal (Pa) is the SI derived unit of pressure, defined as one newton per square metre (N/m²). It was adopted by the General Conference on Weights and Measures in 1971 and named after the French mathematician and physicist Blaise Pascal. Standard atmospheric pressure is approximately 101,325 Pa, and it is widely used in science, engineering, and meteorology.
