Kilogram-force

The kilogram-force ( kgf or kg F ), or kilopond ( kp , from Latin: pondus , lit. 'weight'), is a gravitational metric unit of force. It is equal to the magnitude of the force exerted on one kilogram of mass in a 9.80665 m/s 2 gravitational field (standard gravity, a conventional value approximating the average magnitude of gravity on Earth). Therefore, one kilogram-force is by definition equal to 9.806 65 N. Similarly, a gram-force is 9.806 65 mN, and a milligram-force is 9.806 65 μN.

Hectogram

The hectogram (hg) is a unit of mass in the metric system equal to 100 grams. It is formed by applying the SI prefix hecto- (10²) to the gram. The hectogram is commonly used in food and commerce in several European countries, particularly Italy, where it is a standard unit for purchasing deli meats and cheeses.
