Pennyweight

The pennyweight (dwt) is a unit of mass in the troy weight system equal to 1/20 of a troy ounce, or approximately 1.55517 grams. The abbreviation dwt derives from the Latin denarius combined with the symbol for weight. It is used primarily by jewelers and goldsmiths in the United States and United Kingdom for measuring small quantities of precious metals.

Kilogram-force

The kilogram-force ( kgf or kg F ), or kilopond ( kp , from Latin: pondus , lit. 'weight'), is a gravitational metric unit of force. It is equal to the magnitude of the force exerted on one kilogram of mass in a 9.80665 m/s 2 gravitational field (standard gravity, a conventional value approximating the average magnitude of gravity on Earth). Therefore, one kilogram-force is by definition equal to 9.806 65 N. Similarly, a gram-force is 9.806 65 mN, and a milligram-force is 9.806 65 μN.
