Planck Mass

The Planck mass (mP) is the natural unit of mass in the Planck system of units, defined as √(ℏc/G) ≈ 2.176 × 10⁻⁸ kg, where ℏ is the reduced Planck constant, c is the speed of light, and G is the gravitational constant. It represents the scale at which quantum gravitational effects are expected to become significant. The Planck mass is roughly the mass of a flea egg and serves as a fundamental reference scale in theoretical physics and quantum gravity research.

The kilogram-force ( kgf or kg F ), or kilopond ( kp , from Latin: pondus , lit. 'weight'), is a gravitational metric unit of force. It is equal to the magnitude of the force exerted on one kilogram of mass in a 9.80665 m/s 2 gravitational field (standard gravity, a conventional value approximating the average magnitude of gravity on Earth). Therefore, one kilogram-force is by definition equal to 9.806 65 N. Similarly, a gram-force is 9.806 65 mN, and a milligram-force is 9.806 65 μN.
