The troy pound is a unit of mass used in the troy weight and apothecary systems, equal to 12 troy ounces or 373.2417 grams. Unlike the more common avoirdupois pound (16 ounces), the troy pound is lighter and has historically been used for measuring precious metals and medicinal substances.

The kilogram-force ( kgf or kg F ), or kilopond ( kp , from Latin: pondus , lit. 'weight'), is a gravitational metric unit of force.
