- Show your whole head and the top of your shoulders, with nothing covering the face.
- Rules change: check the official requirements of your document before printing.
What it does
This tool turns an ordinary photo into a document photo in the official size. It finds your face, straightens it, sizes the head to the rule of the chosen document, replaces the background with white when the document allows it, and builds a sheet with several copies to print. Everything runs in your browser and the photo is never uploaded.
How to use it
- Choose the document or the size you need.
- Choose a front-facing photo; the face is framed automatically and checked against the rules.
- Fine-tune if needed, then download the photo or the print sheet.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this photo for any document?
Only for documents that accept your own photo. Many offices take the photo themselves at the counter, such as the Brazilian passport and CIN, the Portuguese citizen card and several Latin American and Asian passports; these are listed but disabled.
Why is the background not replaced for US, UK and Canadian passports?
Their official rules do not accept photos edited by software, including background changes. For these documents the tool only crops and sizes the photo, so take it against a plain white or light wall.
What is a 3×4 photo?
A photo 3 cm wide and 4 cm high, used in Brazil for badges, enrolments, cards and many applications. The tool follows the Brazilian civil aviation guide: head about 30 mm and 2.5 mm of space above it.
How do I print the photos?
Download the 10×15 cm sheet and print it at a photo shop or on photo paper at 100% scale. Each copy has the exact size of the document; cut along the thin lines.
