Newton-meter per second
The newton-meter per second (N·m/s) is a unit of power derived from the SI units of force and velocity. Since a newton-meter is equivalent to a joule, one N·m/s equals one watt (W). This unit naturally appears in rotational mechanics, where power is expressed as torque multiplied by angular velocity. It is therefore dimensionally and numerically identical to the joule per second and the watt.
