Kilogram-Force per Square Meter
Kilogram-force per square metre (kgf/m²) is a technical (gravitational) unit of pressure equal to the pressure exerted by a one-kilogram mass under standard gravity over an area of one square metre, equivalent to approximately 9.80665 Pa. It belongs to the metre–kilogram-force system used extensively in continental European engineering before SI standardisation. The unit is sometimes called the kilopond per square metre.
Pascal
The pascal (Pa) is the SI derived unit of pressure, defined as one newton per square metre (N/m²). It was adopted by the General Conference on Weights and Measures in 1971 and named after the French mathematician and physicist Blaise Pascal. Standard atmospheric pressure is approximately 101,325 Pa, and it is widely used in science, engineering, and meteorology.
