Kip-Force per Square Inch

Kip-force per square inch (kipf/in²), commonly written as ksi, is a unit of pressure equal to 1,000 pounds-force per square inch (psi), or approximately 6.895 megapascals. It is extensively used in US structural and mechanical engineering to express stresses in steel and concrete. The kip (kilopound) is a non-SI unit of force equal to 1,000 lbf.

Pascal

The pascal (Pa) is the SI derived unit of pressure, defined as one newton per square metre (N/m²). It was adopted by the General Conference on Weights and Measures in 1971 and named after the French mathematician and physicist Blaise Pascal. Standard atmospheric pressure is approximately 101,325 Pa, and it is widely used in science, engineering, and meteorology.
