The pascal (Pa) adalah satuan turunan SI dari pressure, defined as one newton per meter persegi (N/m²). It was adopted by the General Conference on Weights and Measures in 1971 and dinamai berdasarkan the French mathematician and physicist Blaise Pascal. Microbar
The microbar (µbar) adalah satuan dari pressure sama dengan seperjuta of a bar, or 0.1 pascals. It was historically used as a reference pressure in acoustics, particularly in CGS-based systems, before being superseded by the micropascal. One µbar equals 1 dyne per square centimeter in the CGS system.
