Cor (Biblical)

The cor (Hebrew: kor) was the largest unit of dry and liquid capacity in the ancient Hebrew measurement system, estimated at approximately 220 liters. It was equivalent to the homer and equal to 10 baths, and is mentioned in the Old Testament in the context of measuring grain and oil.

Liter

The litre (British and Commonwealth spelling) or liter (American spelling) (SI symbols L and l, other symbol used: ) is a non-SI unit of volume. It is equal to 1 cubic decimetre (dm 3), 1000 cubic centimetres (cm 3) or 0.001 cubic metre. A cubic decimetre (or litre) occupies a volume of 10 cm × 10 cm × 10 cm (see figure) and is thus equal to one-thousandth of a cubic metre.
