Seah (Biblical)
The seah (Hebrew: סְאָה) is a biblical Hebrew unit of dry volume equal to one-third of an ephah, approximately 7.3 litres. It is referenced in both the Hebrew Bible and the Talmud as a measure for grain and other dry goods. The seah equals six kabs or two-thirds of a bath in the liquid equivalent.
Liter
The litre (British and Commonwealth spelling) or liter (American spelling) (SI symbols L and l, other symbol used: ℓ) is a non-SI unit of volume. It is equal to 1 cubic decimetre (dm 3), 1000 cubic centimetres (cm 3) or 0.001 cubic metre. A cubic decimetre (or litre) occupies a volume of 10 cm × 10 cm × 10 cm (see figure) and is thus equal to one-thousandth of a cubic metre.
